Meet Reid

Reid, Truman's Therapy Dog
Posted on 09/05/2021

Hi, my name is Reid, and I am a year and 3-month-old black Labrador.  When you meet me, you will quickly find out that I love humans of all shapes and sizes. I enjoy giving everyone as much attention as they give me. In my free time I love to be at home with my mom, my adopted brother, sisters, and my cat brother Truman (coincidence??).  If there is water around, I am sure to find it (and there are a lot of times my mom doesn’t want me to). I love to chase tennis balls and wrestle with my brother, Kai. Really, I just love to be around people, be happy, be loved, and spread happiness.

At 8 weeks old, my mom told me I was very special, and I would grow up to help people, so that is what I try to do every day.  You may not see me every day, because I get mentally exhausted spending my day with so many humans, but do not worry. I think of you all when I am not here.  My job is to work with students who may need to work on anger, social, emotional, and/or coping skills.  I have ears you can talk to and pet me, and I am the dog you can trust to help you reduce their stress and/or anxiety.  My mom, Ms. Keri Clinton, the Behavior Interventionist, and I are here to help your day be just a little bit better.

Please let us know if we can be any help or just be friendly faces in your day!
